When you make a reservation at ‘De WiedenWeide’, the general terms and conditions below become effective.
We look forward to greeting you as a guest in Wanneperveen.

1. Definitions
Principle Guest
The person who made the reservation through the website, a contact form, e-mail or via telephone contact.
The principal guest must be 18 years of age or older and is responsible for his or her fellow guests and must have a permanent place of residence.
Administrator
The person who, as owner of “De WiedenWeide” or on behalf of the owner of “De WiedenWeide,” manages the Bed & Breakfast.
Third Party
Any other (legal) person who is not a guest, manager or owner.
Contact & Reservations
Reservations can be made through our website www.wiedenweide.nl, by sending an e-mail to: info@wiedenweide.nl or by telephone by calling: 0646033433
Cancellation
Revoking or canceling the final reservation within the applicable time limit.
Stay
The entire period located between check-in and check-out.
2. Bed & Breakfast ‘De WiedenWeide
1.1 General description
Bed & Breakfast ‘De WiedenWeide’ is described on the website : www.wiedenweide.nl
This website has been compiled with the greatest care but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the actual situation at ‘De WiedenWeide’ at the time of the visit by our guests.
No rights can be derived by guests from such differences.
1.2 Rooms
There are 4 rooms available: three double rooms and ééone 4-person room (wheelchair friendly)
All rooms at “The WiedenWeide” have a private bathroom with shower, sink with hot & cold running water, toilet and includes use of linen.
The Wieden Suite sleeps 4 (3 adults) and is wheelchair friendly.
Pets possible in the suite & punt room only under reservation and upon request.
1.3 Check-in & check-out
Check-in time between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.
The check-in time is a guide time. However, should you arrive later or earlier, please always contact us by phone. If we are not present for a while, we can make sure that you can go in early.
Different times are only possible by arrangement.
Due to the cleaning of the rooms, you must leave them by 11:00 am on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed.
1.4 Breakfast
Start of breakfast is between 08.00 and 09.30 in our garden room or in the room if desired.
In fine weather, there is the opportunity to have breakfast outside on the terrace of the garden room.
Different times for breakfast can only be discussed with us.
If you have special requests for breakfast, gluten-free, low-salt, vegetarian etcetera, please indicate this when you make the reservation with us. We will see what we can do.
1.5 Parking
The car can be parked on the private property, parking is entirely at your own risk. There is currently only the possibility to charge your car electrically with your own charging plug. Soon also charging using power will be possible. A fee is payable for charging.
1.6 Bicycles
You can bring your own bike and place it in our locked bike shed. This is entirely at your own risk. You can also rent bikes from us. Taking bikes into the rooms or hallway is not allowed.
1.7 Use of rooms and grounds
The manager will notify you which rooms at Bed and Breakfast De Wiedenweide are available to you.
Private areas may not be entered by guests in the farmhouse.
The outdoor area also has separations of common and private use, it is highly appreciated not to enter the private areas.
2. Prices
2.1 Current valid prices
The prices of the rooms are described on our website www.wiedenweide.nl
Prices include full breakfast, use of towels and linens, water and electricity and cleaning, use of WiFi and final cleaning.
2.2 Surcharge for 1 night
A surcharge is applied for stays of 1 night.
2.3 Cancellation fee
Prices do not include cost of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other charges.
2.4 Tourist tax
The room rates listed do not include tourist tax. However, this cost is listed on the booking confirmation.
2.5 Adjustments
Prices of Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide are always without obligation and are subject to interim changes.
2.6 Obvious errors
Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide is not bound by obvious errors on its websites.
3. Reservation and payment
3.1 Reservation
Reservations are made via the website or by email or phone number as published on the contact page.
3.2 Final confirmation
3.2.1 Online booking
When booking through the website (online booking), the booking is final when you have made the payment through the website.
3.2.2 Booking by email or telephone
If you make a reservation by phone or email, we will send you a message as soon as possible with the relevant details and whether the desired room is definitely available. In this case, the booking becomes final only by confirming the reservation request. If we have not received your confirmation after 48 hours, the reservation request will be cancelled immediately.
3.3 Payment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is made in advance when booking on the website (iDeal or credit card).
For short-term reservations, the amount must be paid in cash or by pin upon arrival.
4. Cancellation Policy
4.1 General
Once a final reservation for the Bed & Breakfast has been made and confirmed, the following applies to cancellation of that reservation:
– Cancellation more than 14 days in advance is free of charge.
– For cancellations from 14 days to 8 days before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 50%.
– For cancellations 9 days or less before the arrival date, the cancellation fee is 100%.
To possibly be eligible for a refund of the amount paid, you must notify us of the cancellation by e-mail as soon as possible.
After consultation, the agreed amount will be transferred to you as soon as possible, but no later than 21 days.
There will be no refund for early departure, cancellation fees are also due if you do not show up (No Show).
4.3 Force Majeure
Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide may cancel the reservation agreement in the following cases: in case of force majeure, natural disaster, extraordinary weather conditions, fire, death of the owners or family, hospitalization.
In any of these cases, the owner will provide the guest with an alternative offer as soon as possible.
If this is not possible or the guest does not accept the alternative offered, a full refund will be made.
Any other damages resulting from the termination will not be compensated by the owner.
4.3 Insurance
You must provide your own cancellation and/or travel insurance.
5. Complaints
We try to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Despite our good care, it is still possible that you may have a complaint or comment.
In order to properly resolve them, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible on the spot, via email or telephone contact.
6. Liability
6.1 General
Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide cannot be held liable for damage suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of staying in the room in question, the guest indemnifies Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide against such claims.
Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide is not liable for failures in and around the accommodation such as failures and breakdowns of electricity, Wifi, water supplies and technical installations as well as not or untimely announced construction and/or road works in the vicinity of Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide.
6.2 Theft damage etc.
No liability is accepted by Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide for loss, theft, damage or accidents caused to persons and/or property during or as a result of the stay in the room(s) in question at Bed & Breakfast De Wiedenweide.
6.3 Damage caused by guests
The principal guest named in the reservation confirmation is responsible for orderly conduct in and around the room(s) in question.
Things should be handled carefully, therefore the room should be left neat and decent.
This also applies to the use of items in the Bed & Breakfast such as: the kitchen, the garden room (common room) , the indoor-outdoor area and the outdoor area of Bed and Breakfast De Wiedenweide.
Breakage or damage must therefore be reported by the guest to the owner immediately.
Any repair and/or replacement costs must be immediately reimbursed by the guest to the owner upon first request.
Should it turn out after checking out that things have been left broken and this has not been reported to the owner, the bill for the repair and/or replacement costs incurred will still follow.
7. Safety
7.1 Fire and smoking
For your own safety and that of the Bed and Breakfast, smoking or open flames are prohibited inside the rooms. Use of lit candles inside is not allowed.
Smoking is only allowed outside on the grounds surrounding the Bed and Breakfast as long as you do not cause a nuisance to other guests.
Use of the wood stove in the Wiedensuite is permitted only after a brief explanation from the owner on how to responsibly fire and explanation of the fire extinguisher provided. It is not allowed to leave the Wiedensuite unoccupied with a burning wood stove. It is also not permitted to go to sleep with the stove burning or smoldering.
The misuse of fire/extinguishers or disabling the smoke detector is not permitted.
7.2 Other
Other facilities in the yard should be used by guests with care and in accordance with their purpose.
The safety of any small child must be ensured by the parents or supervisors.
Think of the pets, ditches, cars, tractors, shovel, lawnmower, horses-with-cars, sheep, surrounding highways, bike paths etcetera.
You are not allowed to feed the animals in the yard without consultation, including our own dogs.
8. Final Provisions
8.1 Applicable Law
Insofar as rules of international private law do not provide otherwise, these terms and conditions are exclusively governed by Dutch law. Non-Dutch speaking guests are deemed to be in agreement with the terms and conditions.
8.2 Competent court
All disputes arising from the user agreement or these terms and conditions shall be settled in the first instance by the competent court in the Netherlands, insofar as the rules of international private law do not provide otherwise.
8.3 Other
Neither party may assign its rights and obligations to third parties to the extent not otherwise provided in these terms and conditions.
If and to the extent that any provision in the User Agreement and these terms and conditions should prove to be void, the remaining terms and conditions shall remain in force and the void article shall be deemed to be converted so as to conform to the apparent intentions of the parties.
